Darlene Brock

Darlene Brock, 69, passed away on May 5, 2025 at UT Medical Center. She was born to the late James and Katie Brock Thomas on August 7, 1955 in Harlan.

One of Darlene’s greatest joys was going to church. She loved the Lord and was baptized in Jesus’ name and had received the precious Holy Ghost. She worked at Middlesboro Hospital as a CNA for many years. She enjoyed spending time with her kids and grandkids and watching westerns and Andy Griffith.

Ms. Brock is preceded in death by her Parents and Several Brothers and Sisters, Ricky, Tony, Harvey, A.M., Teresa and Jewell. Mrs. Brock was also preceded in death by her late husband Wilburn Brock of Leslie County.

Darlene is survived by her Son, Tommy Brock and Wife Haley; Step-Son, Travis Brock; Grandchildren, Carabeth Stamper, Brooklynn Thompson, Addison Brock and grandbaby on the way, Emberly Brock; Brothers and Sisters, Kelsey Thomas, Nat Thomas, James Thomas, John Thomas, Glendell Thomas, Joyce Carroll and Husband Ramsey, Clarie Thomas, Lisa Thomas Halcomb, Ruby Garcia, June Saylor and Mary Thomas; Several nieces, nephews, family members and friends will also mourn her passing.

Visitation for Ms. Darlene will begin at 5PM Friday, May 9, 2025 until the Funeral Hour of 7PM with Pastor Charles Bush officiating. Burial will be held at Resthaven Cemetery at 11AM on Saturday, May 10, 2025 with Family and Friends serving as pallbearers.
