Frances Bennett

Frances Bennett, 65 of Evarts, passed away on February 26, 2026, at UK Hospital with her family by her side. She was born to the late Shirl and Martha Ledford Hughes on November 3, 1960.

Ms. Bennett is preceded in death by her Parents and Siblings, Jerry Hughes, Donnie Hughes, Glenn Hughes, Edna Caudill, Patsy Bennett, Mary Elizabeth Hughes and Adrienne Hughes; Husband, Cecil Bennett; Brother-in-law, Rufus Brock.

Frances is survived by her loving Children, Cecilia Hughes (Brandon), Wayne Hughes (Heather), Adam Hughes (Breanna) and Nicholas Saylor; Sisters, Retha Brock, Karen Kelly (Ronnie) and Kathy Hughes (Taylor Whittaker); Eight Grandchildren and several nieces, nephews, family and friends will also mourn her passing.

Funeral service will be at 1 PM, Saturday, March 7th in the Chapel at Mount Pleasant Funeral Home. Pastor Jerry Kinney will officiate the service. Mrs. Bennett’s family will receive friends at Mount Pleasant, Saturday from 11am until the funeral hour at 1 PM.
