He was preceded in death by wife Frieda and daughter Annette. Parents: Earl and Mary Blanton. Brothers: Leo, Carl (Janice), Bill (Kim) Gary (Brenda) & Tom.
He is survived by Son: Jackie Blanton (Mike), Daughter: Kathy Harris (Greg) Special Sister-in-law: Irene Turner & Special Nephew: Brian Turner (Amy). Grandchildren Bethany White (Justin) & Bradley Harris. Great grandchildren, Carter White, Tucker White & Tyler White and a host of nieces & nephews.
Visitation will be held Sunday March the 3rd from 5-7 with a celebration of his life following in the Chapel of Mount Pleasant Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you donate to the Harlan County Humane Society or your favorite charity.
