Johnny Paul Lewis

Johnny Paul Lewis 55, of Putney, KY passed away June 19, 2014 at his residence after a long illness. He was born January 13, 1959 in Harlan Co. to the late Bobby Ray and Mary Lewis. He was a retired coal miner and attended The Church of the Living God.
He is preceded in death by a brother and sister; Billy Joe Lewis and Elizabeth Ann Lewis.
He is survived by his children; Johnny Paul Lewis Jr. of Cumberland, KY ; Jerry Lewis of Putney, KY ; Jeffrey L. Lewis of Cumberland, KY; Devin Simmons and Robert Lee Lewis both of Lynch , KY; Trinity Boggs of Partridge ,KY ;Three Grand children Katelin Lewis, Ean Lewis and Payton Lewis; Special ex-wife Sherease Lewis Banks of Putney, KY; 14 brothers and sisters; Jimmy Ray Lewis of Benham, KY; Jerry Lewis (Pam) of Arjay, KY; Hubert Lewis Beham, KY; Bobby Ray Lewis Jr. (Tonya) of Blair, KY; Greg Lewis of VA; Jason Lewis (Misty) of Lynch, KY; Duddly Lewis of Linefork, KY; Irene Brock (Bill) of Putney, KY; Tammy Absher (Steve) of Beanstation, TN; Cortney Lewis of Arjay, KY; and Misty Lewis of GA. A host of Nieces, Nephews, Family and friends also survive.
Visitation will be held Friday June 20, 2014 from 5 to 8:00 PM at Mount Pleasant Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held Saturday June 21, 2014 at 12:00 PM at Mount Pleasant Funeral with the Rev. Bruce Bingham officiating the service. Burial will follow in the Brock Cemetery in Putney, KY.
