Joyce Hoskins, age 75, of Cumberland passed away peacefully on Friday August 23, 2019 at Harlan Appalachian Regional Hospital. She was born to the late Floyd and Cumile Hubbard. She was a homemaker and attended Emmanuel Baptist Church.
She is preceded in death by her parents, a grandson Cody Anderson, and a sister Betty Miller.
She leaves to cherish her memory her husband Cecil Smith, children: Michael Milwee of Barbourville, Floyd Milwee and wife Wanda of Barbourville, Rita Miles and husband Lonnie of Cumberland, Rose Jones and husband Mike of Gulston, Brothers: Ernie Hubbard and wife Barb of Indiana, Donald Hubbard and wife Heide of Gordon, Sisters: Connie Hubbard and fiancé Rick Thornsberry of Gordon, Grandchildren: Jacob, Joshua, Summer, Dakota, Christopher, Michael, Heather, Tamara, Savana, Melissa, Dewayne, David Milwee, Alissa and Brayden Duff, Hannah Massingale, Sara Sergent, Kyle Sergent, Brianna Sergent, Shawen Fee and Michael Jones, Great Grandchildren: Daylon Milwee, Alexis, Chance, Caleb, Harley Moore, Bella, Stella and Aidan Milwee and Kayon Murray; a host of nieces and nephews and a special friend Betty “Ruth” Drew.
Visitation will be in the chapel of Mount Pleasant Funeral Home, Monday August 26, 2019 from 5 to 8 PM, Tuesday August 27, 2019 from 5 to 8 PM, Funeral Service will be Wednesday August 28, 2019 at 1:00 PM with the Reverend Arnold Martin officiating. Burial will follow in Resthaven Cemetery in Keith, KY with family and friends serving as pallbearers.
