Luster Helton

Luster Helton, 74, of Tremont, passed away peacefully on July 29, 2018 at his residence. He was born to the late James and Nellie Fletcher Helton on May 16, 1944. He was in The United States Army and completed Two Tours in Vietnam. He worked for the State Highway Department in Engineering.
Mr. Helton is preceded in death by his Parents and Brothers, Jimmy Helton and Stan Helton.
Luster is survived by his loving Children, Jennifer Boggs and Husband Hobie of Wallins, Vicky White and Husband Darian of Smith and Frank Ammon and Wife Michelle of Georgia; Grandchildren, Justin Peck, Amber McLain, Logan Shackleford, Kaleb Boggs, Donovan White, Cayden Craig and Aaron Ammon; Great Grandchildren, Evan McLain, Emma Peck, Jayden Peck, Adalynn Shackleford and Ryder Shackleford; Sister, Faye Green and Husband Monk of Pineville.
Visitation will be Monday, July 30, 2018 from 5PM to 8PM in the Chapel of Mount Pleasant Funeral Home. Graveside Funeral services will be Tuesday, July 31, 2018 at 1PM at The Farley-Helton Cemetery at Watts Creek with Military Honors provided by Harlan County Honor Guard.
