Nellie Mae Davis, 80 of Cawood, passed away at home with her family by her side on June 11, 2022. She was born to the late Tom and Eva Clem Earls on August 4, 1941. She was a homemaker and loved going to church. She believed in the Pentecostal Faith.
Ms. Davis is preceded in death by her Parents; Husband, Bob Davis; Great Granddaughter, Olivia Rowe; Brothers, William Earls, Virgil Earls, Franklin Junior Earls, Waymon Earls, Tommy Earls and Milford Earls; Sisters, Opal Earls, Judy Earls, Martha Meade and Roxie Earls.
Nellie Mae is survived by her loving Children, Jack Davis of Cawood, Robert Davis of Cawood, Melissa Daniels and Husband Dennis of Smith and Melinda Davis; Grandchildren, Joseph Rowe, Shonteen Ramsey and Husband Hunter, Austin Davis, Coral Burkhart and CJ Burkhart; Great Grandchildren, Cooper, Wyatt, Levi and a baby girl, Elisabeth June, on the way; Brothers, Gary Earls of South Carolina and Bill Earls of Georgia; Sisters, Jeanette Roberts and Husband David of Auburn GA, Redda Holland of Georgia, Shirley Griffith of Coldiron, Linda Saylor of Coldiron and Edna Blackburn of Harlan; Several other Nieces, Nephews, family and friends also mourn her passing.
Visitation will be Monday, June 13, 2022 from 5PM to 8PM in the Chapel of Mount Pleasant Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be Tuesday, June 14, 2022 at Grays Knob Church of God at 3PM with Doug Daniels officiating. Burial will follow in the Clem-Hall Cemetery with Friends and Family serving as pallbearers.
