Richard Ricky Long

Richard “Ricky” Long, age 69 of Wallins passed away Thursday September 16, 2021 at the Harlan Appalachian Regional Hospital. He was born February 23, 1952 to the late Richard M and Leona Long. He loved to fish, hunt, loved his grandkids, toured 48 states in his RV, he loved camping and visited Nova Scotia, Cozumel, and Jamaica.
He is preceded in death by his parents; Richard M Long and Leona Duncan Long and brother in law Clarence Montgomery.
He leaves to cherish his memory his loving wife Joan Long of Wallins, Daughters Susan Long and husband Scott of Chicago, Alice Long and husband Brian of Chicago, Crystal Long of Chicago, Cheryl Miller and husband John of Arlington Heights, IL, brother Mark Long and wife Deanna of Coal City, IL, Sisters Brenda Montgomery of Somerset, Tricia Becker and husband Don of Michigan City, IN, 3 cherished grandchildren Jack, Reagan, and Holden, notable travel buddy LeRoy Bo Dean, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and a special thanks to his Wallins neighbors and Friends
Visitation will be in the chapel of Mount Pleasant Funeral Home on Tuesday September 21, 2021 from 2 to 5 PM with Funeral service following.
