Robert Greene

Robert Greene, 74 of Cawood, passed away on February 7, 2023 at Harlan Appalachian Regional Hospital with his family by his side. Mr. Greene was born to the late Virgil and Hazel Johnson Greene on August 28, 1948.

He is preceded in death by his Parents; Wife, Vivian Greene and a Daughter, Samantha Greene.

Robert is survived by his Daughter, Charlotte Farmer and Husband Henry; Son, Rick Hardy; Grandchildren, Samantha Lewis and Husband Willie and Sara Farmer and Gerald “JJ” Smith III; Great Grandchildren, Adrianne Lewis and Brooklyn Lewis; Sisters, Pam Spurlock and Husband Jim and Dana Gains and Husband Rick; Nephew and Niece, Shawn Stewart and Sommer Holt; Several Great Nieces and Nephews.

Visitation will be Friday, February 10, 2023 from 12PM to 2PM in the Chapel of Mount Pleasant Funeral Home. Funeral will begin at 2PM also in the chapel with Jeremy Johnson officiating. Burial will follow at Resthaven Cemetery with Family and Friends serving as pallbearers. Harlan County Honor Guard will be performing Military Rites.
