Ronald Caldwell

Ronald Caldwell, 76 of Harlan, passed away on October 13, 2023 at the Harlan Appalachian Regional Hospital. He was born to the late Will and Hester Mosley Caldwell on March 9, 1947. He was a proud United States Army Veteran, serving in the Vietnam war. He then retired from Coal Mining after 30 years. Ronald was one of the original members of the Harlan County Honor Guard for 20 years.

He is preceded in death by his Parents; His first Wife and Mother of His Son, Reva Sue Caldwell and His Second Wife and loving companion, Janice Caldwell.

Mr. Caldwell is survived by his Son, Eric Caldwell and Wife Laura; Granddaughter, Rosalee Caldwell; Sister, June Liming and Husband Bob; Nephews, Brad Liming and Greg Liming and Wife Lindsey; Several other Family members and Friends will also mourn his passing.

Graveside services will be held on Thursday, October 19, 2023 at 1PM at Caldwell Cemetery. If you would like to go in procession, the family will be meeting in front of the funeral home and will be leaving at 12:30PM.

The Harlan County Honor Guard will provide Military Rites. Family and the Harlan County Honor Guard will serve as pallbearers.
