Rose Marie Watkins

Rose Marie Watkins, 84 of Wallins, formerly of Pennington Gap, Virginia passed away on July 8, 2025. She was born on August 17, 1940, to the late Ernest Banks and Alberta Ison Banks.

Mrs. Watkins was preceded in death by her husband of 23 years Roy Lee Watkins and grandson, Donald Gregory Watkins.

Left to mourn her passing are her stepchildren, Roy L. Watkins Jr of Sharps Chapel, TN, Dora Bledsoe and husband Darrel of Rosspoint, Donald Watkins and wife Glenda of Wallins, Roger Watkins and Michael Watkins of Wallins. 6 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren also survive.

Visitation for Mrs. Watkins will be held on Saturday, July 12, 2025, from 1 PM until 4 PM in the Chapel of Mount Pleasant Funeral Home with the funeral to follow at 4 PM with the Reverend Freeman Clark officiating. Interment will follow at the Park Howard Cemetery at Wallins, KY with family and friends serving as pallbearers.
