Roy Lee Harris, age 77 of Cawood, Kentucky passed on September 8th, 2026, at the Harlan ARH. He was a veteran.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Harvey and Mary Harris; wife, Peggy; and two sisters, Loretta Helton, and Helen Saylor.
He is survived by one son, Brian Lee Harris of Indiana; one brother, Tommy (Jenny) Harris; three sisters, Dorothy (Bo) Jones, Connie Goldberry, and Norma Jean (Darrell) White; as well as a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, family and friends.
The family will receive friends on Sunday, September 13th, 2026, from 1:00 PM until 3:00 PM in the chapel of Mount Pleasant Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held the same day at 3:00 PM with Pastor Sean Daniels officiating. Interment will follow at the Day Jackson Cemetery in Cranks, Kentucky with friends and family serving as pallbearers.
