Shelby Jean Farley

Shelby Jean Farley, 72 of Harlan, passed away on July 5, 2023 at the Harlan Health and Rehabilitation Center. She was born to the late Shelby and Mossie Walden Edwards on November 4, 1950. She graduated from Cawood High School and went on to attend the Kentucky Junior College of Business and Pineville College of Nursing. She believed in the Baptist faith and in her youth attended the First Baptist Church of Loyall.

Ms. Farley is preceded in death by her Parents; Husband, Bill Farley; Sons, Larry Jo Cornett and David Wayne Cornett.

Shelby Jean is survived by her Daughter, Billy Catherine Farley; Brother, Jim Edwards and Wife Robbin; Nephew, Mike Helton; Several cousins, family and friends will mourn her passing.

A Graveside service will be held Sunday, July 16, 2023 at Farley Cemetery beginning at 11AM with Derek Edens officiating.
