Shelia Cannon, 69, of Elcomb, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Wednesday, April 10, 2019 at Hazard ARH. She was born to the late Jude and Mary Jane Bailey Johnson on October 18, 1949.
Ms. Cannon is preceded in death by her Parents; Husband, Alfred Thomas Cannon.; Brother, Bobby Ray Johnson.
Shelia is survived by her Children, Melissa Johnson and Husband Jeff of Putney, James Edward Lee Cannon and Wife Bertha of Harlan and James Edward Lee Chadwick Jr. and wife Marcella of Harlan; Grandchildren, Jeffery Johnson, Ricky Johnson, Navaeh Cannon, James Edward Lee Cannon Jr. and Kieran Chadwick; Brother, Julius Johnson and wife Kathy of Harlan; Sisters, Judy Simpson and Husband Roland of Harlan, Shirley Turner and Tracy of Harlan and Mary Jane Jenkins and Husband Herbie of Harlan; A host of Nieces and Nephews also mourn her passing.
Visitation will be Friday, April 12, 2019 from 6PM to 9PM in the Chapel of Mount Pleasant Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be Saturday, April 13, 2019 at 2PM also in the chapel with Denver Brock officiating. Burial will follow at Johnson Cemetery with Nephews serving as pallbearers.
