Timothy Hickson

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Timothy Hickson, 14 of Harlan, a beloved son, brother, grandson, nephew, cousin, and friend. Timothy's life was brief, but it was filled with love and joy that will be remembered for a lifetime.

Timothy was born on February 9, 2009, in Harlan. He grew up to be an avid athlete who played football as #17 and #18 and baseball as #15 for the Harlan Green Dragons. He also enjoyed cross-country running and soccer and remained active even when off the field. He loved gaming on his PlayStation in his free time and spending time outdoors hunting or fishing.

Timothy is preceded in death by his Grandfather, Steve Reed and Great Grandfather, Clarence Reed.

Timothy is survived by his Mother, Sasha Reed and Dalton Clark; Father, Billy Hickson; Brothers, Toby Hickson and Tyler Hickson; Sisters, Graceland Clark and Jaylie Clark; Grandparents, Rhonda Gibson and husband Jimmy and Rhonda Hickson and husband Jack. Additionally he left behind his great grandmothers, Brenda Reed and Helen King; Aunts & Uncles, C.J. Reed and wife Amanda, Steve Reed & Angel Brooks, Chasity Brock, Kristy Hickson, Ashley Duff and Kara Hickson; Special friends that were like brothers, Eden Caudill, Elijah Caudill, Isaiah Caudill, & their mother Brandy Caudill, and Logan Childers - all who will deeply miss him.

Timothy's family would like to express their sincere appreciation to all those who have reached out with their kind words or provided support during this challenging time. Your presence has been a comfort to them as they navigate this difficult loss. Special thank you to the Harlan Independent School System Staff, Kids, Football and Baseball teams, for their love toward Timothy.

A visitation will take place on June 14th, 2023 from 5PM to 8PM in the Chapel of Mount Pleasant Funeral Home. On June 15th, 2023 a funeral service for Timothy will also be held at Mount Pleasant Funeral Home beginning at 3PM with Rodney Freeman and Jake Middleton officiating. Burial will follow at Evarts Memorial Gardens with CJ Reed, Steve Reed, Tyler Hickson, Toby Hickson, Eden Caudill and Elijah Caudill serving as pallbearers.
