Willie Burkhart, age 77 of Tremont, passed away peacefully on Sunday September 8, 2019 at St. Joseph East Hospital in Lexington, KY. Willie was born to the late Joseph and Maggie Burkhart.
He is preceded in death by his Father Joe Burkhart and Mother Maggie Joseph Burkhart.
Willie is survived by his loving wife Georgetta, brother William Burkhart, sister Bonnie Alred, Son John Burkhart and wife Connie, Daughter Debra Shell and husband Randy, Daughter Jo Ann Osborne and husband Harvey, Daughter Jessica Burkhart and special friend Vivienne Robertson, Son Christopher and Special friend Melissa Gibson, Son Matthew and Special friend Candy Cornett, Grandchildren and Great Grandchildren: Michael and wife Amanda, Jack, Anna, Curtis, Vivica , Sierra, Justin, Amy, Courtney, Lucinda Beverly, a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
Visitation will be Wednesday September 11, 2019 from 6-9 PM, in the Chapel of Mount Pleasant Funeral Home. Funeral Service will be Thursday September 12, 2019 at 2 PM also in the Chapel. Interment will follow in the Joseph Family Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Johnny, Chris, Matthew, Michael, Justin, Curtis, Cody, Honorary Pallbearers are David and Ronnie Ball and Harvey Osborne.
