Woodford Ray Saylor

Woodford Ray Saylor, 67, of Harlan, Kentucky, passed away Monday, November 2, 2026, at the Harlan Health and Rehabilitation Center. He was born March 31, 1959, in Red Bird, Kentucky to Ozzie Saylor and Susie Caldwell, whom both precede him in death.

Along with his parents, Woodford is also preceded in death by one sister, Connie Saylor.

He is survived by his wife, Patsy Huff-Saylor of Coldiron, Kentucky; one daughter, Ashley Taylor (Paul); one brother, Lester Saylor; one sister, Ester Bailey (Ricky) of LaFollette, Tennessee; two nephews, Max Bailey, and Cody Bailey; one grandchild, Hailee Eilzabeth Taylor; and a host of other family and friends.

The family will receive friends on Friday, November 6, 2026, from 4:00 PM until 6:00 PM for visitation in the chapel of Mount Pleasant Funeral Home. Burial will be at Resthaven on Saturday, November 7, 2026, at 10:00 AM. Those who wish to go in procession to Resthaven will meet at Mount Pleasant Funeral Home at 9:30 AM.

In lieu of flowers the family has requested donations be made to Mount Pleasant Funeral Home for the family.
