Wretha Schoch

Wretha D. Schoch, 78, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, September 4, 2018. Born in Harlan County, KY, she was a resident of Newport News for over 50 years. She retired from Siemens Automotive after 30 years and loyally dedicated her time to volunteering and supporting military veterans. Wretha was preceded in death by her loving husband, Leo P. Schoch. She is survived by her daughter, Patricia Schoch Peck; son, Leopold Schoch; granddaughters, Jessica Borst (Donald) and Jacquelyn Konouck (Liam), and four great-grandchildren, Hailey, Zachary, Logan and Aidan. The family will receive friends on Thursday, September 6, 2018 from 6:00-7:00p.m. at Weymouth Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted on Friday, September 7, 2018 at 11:00a.m. at Weymouth Funeral Home with interment to follow in Hampton Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Pine Mountain Settlement School, Harlan County, KY. Arrangements by Weymouth Funeral Home.
